who we are

Founded in the late 60’s by a group passionate to Celebrate Jesus and determined to share the Good News, Christ the King Lutheran Church was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, and exists as a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Destined to be a Mission Church, outreach efforts continue today, aimed at reaching the lost and yearning, bringing Hope and Joy to the city. New families and College Students alike are especially encouraged to explore the Gospel with us here.

We are currently in the Call Process, awaiting a new pastoral assignment from the LCMS seminaries. During this time of transition, Pastor Sig Kunz (traveling from Bossier) leads our worship on the First and Second Sundays in June. Pastor Joe Author will lead the remaining 3 Sundays in June.

All Sunday Services start at 10:15 am, early arrival is welcome.

The 9:15 bible study hour is resuming on June 15th. The bible study follows the Discovery Method and covers one of the Lectionary readings for the day. The Discovery Bible Study consists of the group discussing the chosen text in light of the following three questions:

(1) What does this tell you about God?;

(2) What does this tell you about yourself and your world?; and

(3) How will you live this out?

Join us in this fellowship and enjoy good coffee and breakfast fruits!
